Spacers Installed but rubbing

Hi guys, I've spent time searching and learned that most guys are using 15mm and 12mm front and rear spacers with no issues. However I just installed mine and it rubs in the rear and I can see marking on my tires.

I'm running 275/35/19 pilot super sports in the back and lowered with H&R. Is there anything that can be adjusted to fix this?

Thanks!

The size of the tire and size of the spacer are only two parts of the equation. The third is the rim width and offset. Just because someone with the same tire runs a 15mm spacer doesn't mean you can because they may be running a narrower rim or a less aggressive offset.

If you are rubbing, you can either try more negative camber or use a smaller spacer. I'd throw the 12mm on the back and see if that alleviates the rubbing..

Look and see what it's rubbing. Could just be fender liner which can be trimmed back some to make clearance. Or it could be the tab for the bumper which can be bent back to make room.

I'm on the stock 19s. 12mm spacers are on the rear. 15 in the front with no issues.

I have 19" GTS wheels (same size and offset as the ZCP wheels iirc) running 285/30/19 with a 12.5mm spacer with no rubbing. But on stock ZCP suspension with rear camber at -1.8.

I think you have the same issue i ran into with my fronts...your tire is too tall. My fronts are a 255/35/19 with 15mm spacer and I tore through my fender liner from rubbing, it should be a 265/30/19 in the front for me. Try either a 285/30/19 rear tire or going down to a 10mm spacer.

I wanted 10mm spacer but told that they have some firmament issues so went with the 12mm. Today it did not notice any rubbing so perhaps I was rubbing the liner or tab by the bumper as mentioned above and its now worn down. I don't know...its hard to tell where it is rubbing as I cannot see to well in the wheel well.

Any tips on how to check where the rubbing is occurring?

Is there an easy was to see this since the space is too small to have a good look. I suppose I can pull off the tire but if there is something easier to first confirm the location of the rubbing that would be good.

Pop off the wheel and it will be easy to see where it's been rubbing.

Just confirmed it is tab from the bumper rubbing the wheels. I put tape around the fenders and drove around for a while. Only that part had markings on the tape. I'll try bending it back or cutting it off.

Thanks for all your help guys. I'm happy to have found this forum.

Your 35 profile is the problem. They should be 30% on the rears as they're wider.

I was thinking that but those were the wheels the came with the car. Maybe my next set.

That's because you have lowered with H&R. Those with stock or ZCP springs will not have this issue.
