Show me your dashcam installs
The city I live in has the worst drivers I've ever seen. In the past 6 years, I've had people crash INTO me 4 times now.
As a result, I've had enough. Its time for a dashcam. I'm looking for some really clean dash cam installs to use as a reference for my own install. If you have a really clean dashcam setup, I would love to see pictures. I'm looking for something hardwired, and not in the way. Ideally something that just turns on when I start the car, and stops when I shut it off. |

I should also add, information about where to connect power safely would also be helpful. Don't want to overload a circuit, or pick the wrong one.

At the last bimmerfest here in SoCal there was a company that was selling a dashcam that plugs directly into the obd port... Then you just slip the wire behind the a pillar cover and under the roof lining with the camera mounted near the center mirror.
Maybe someone else here from SoCal remembers the website. |
