Auto Tuning House in Orlando quoted me $2200+tax. Includes VAC bearings and oem bolts, gasket, and liqui moly oil. I think that is the least expensive option I've found across all of Florida. Planning on having them do mine soon.

Active is one of the most expensive shops in SFLA, I wouldn't do it there. Their service is top notch though.
Also, Euromotive can do it too, they are in Hallandale I believe. |

bumping this up because after replacing both my TAs I'm thinking of replacing my rod bearings preventatively to have peace of mind with my car especially since im planning on doing HPDE this year. Im in Miami FL, but can drive up as north as WPB for the right shop that I know will take car of me and my car right.
Supposedly a local member on here said Active quoted him $2k which i thought was unbelievable, they're usually the pricier shop for BMWs. Also what bearings did you all go with? Ive been looking into BE bearings but dont see alot of reviews.

I haven't found Active to be "that" expensive or out of line with other shops. In fact, I found them cheaper on a couple items...
And as another person posted, they are one of the best - so don't they warrant being a little more expensive? They did my rod bearings and I recall it being about the same as anywhere else.

But I can't recommend them enough. It's a shop that does R&D, makes their own parts, etc. They are extremely qualified and who I trust for most things on my car. I do like Foreign Affairs in Pompano as well, Jared is a good guy. We take our cars there for maintenance and I've had them do some performance stuff as well. Plus I do track days with the Foreign Affairs guys (and it's not unusual to see Active guys at the track, too).
