Cheapest place to buy a MP Exhaust?
Nearly two years into owning this car and want to spice things up a bit.
Looking to purchase the MPE but dont want to spend $5k for the exhaust and titanium tips. What are my options? I'd likely skip on the OEM tips and buy some nice aftermarket ones as many are now available. As far as vendor for the exhaust, however, who has the best deal? Thanks. |

The classifieds in the forums here if you're looking for a deal... for example:
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...&highlight=Mpe Has what you're looking for for just under $3k. |

Yeah... saw the local pickup preference, but it's been up for 6wks and I imagine they want the cash. Either way, MPE seems to pop up in the classifieds regularly. If you're looking brand new, dealer classifieds may be worth checking or getbmwparts.com (they have the system minus tips for just under $4k)... eBay also for similar price... good luck in your search!

Keep in mind if you buy used and your exhaust does the dreaded MPE cracking at the can the dealer will likely not cover it under warranty which is BS. Do a search on MPE cracking and there is a couple pretty ugly scenarios that have played out sadly.

Yeh I'm not buying used. If people sold it for half off I'd consider it, but those would likely only be the ones that are cracked.
$3800 seems like a fair price for the second best one out there. |
