Rear Differential Lock

The other day i got stuck in snow tried to drive forward and backward few times and the idrive says rear differential lock.
did my car break or will it be fine? I haven't tried to drive after that incident.

You probably got an error because the dsc sensed a lot of slip in the rear diff.
If you get stuck try running with dsc off or in MDM mode, which will allow more wheel spin.
Unless you continue to get that error you are fine. If it keeps coming up, take it to the dealer.

thanks! i forgot to mention at one point, it says ABS is not working. Hopefully my car didn't break lol

My boy saw one also stuck idk why owners wont put Snow Tires on if they are driving it on the snow

yep I realized that RWD + Summer tires are the worst possible idea to drive in any snow condition. Warning did go away and it drives fine.
Now I'm running snow tires
