Active Autowerkes Midpipe
Selling a slightly used Active Autowerke mid-pipe for F8X (M3/M4). Drove it for 2 months and replaced it with the new Dinan mid-pipe. Resonator and 1-cat delete. PM me if you're interested.

I actually have this setup with vrsf dps and it is pretty damn loud. Honestly I close flaps when I go to work early and leave work early lol

Vrsf Dps, aa midpipe, stock exhaust, bms intake, jb4: Video will obviously not do it complete justice, but gives you a decent idea of sound. Definitely like it, but I will warn you it is loud as hell especially catless dps. |

OP do you also have the Dinan rear exhaust paired with the Dinan mid pipe? Would like to hear your review and possible videos if you have any.
Thanks |

It sounds good, there's no vibration or drone.

Zero complaints with AA midpipe, actually my only small gripe about the midpipe was the interior noise was still quiet. But outside the car was a different story lol.

If I'm not mistaken, the AA midpipe was paired with a Dinan axleback muffler. I'm assuming that combination may have been the source of the undesirable noise/vibration. Many other reports tend to talk about the subduing effect of the AA axleback when used with the midpipe.

I've seen about 3 F80s with the AA Midpipe vibrate against that middle brace on cold start, but not on the F82 for some reason (Or i haven't seen yet at least). The fix for all the cars has been to unbolt the mid pipe, push it up, and retighten. Fixed the issue on every car, for what it's worth. I have a little more clearance on my F82 w/ AA mid pipe than my brother's F80.

Indeed. Very good to know. Mine's an F80. I'm glad to know there's a fix if I were to experience the indicated vibration. Perhaps the OP just didn't want to mess around with it anymore. And, as indicated, perhaps there's some value to having an all-Dinan setup

I have an f80 and no issues since install. I recommend putting a wood block between the pipe and the brace then tighten so when it settles it sits in the correct spot.

This reminds me of the old E46 days, fitting any aftermarket exhaust section 2 to help with rasp on those was always a problem, never fit 100% perfect. Deja vu all over
