Door Chime Won't Shut Off... *GRRRR*

anyone else experience this? happens every once in a while where i'll get in and shut the door and start the car but the door chime will ring and ring and ring... even continues rining when the engine is shut off and the key is removed from the column.

the only way i've gotten it to stop is to shut off the ignition remove the key and lock the doors. it still continues to ring for a while, but eventually shuts off after a few minutes.

not sure if it is an ignition switch issue, or perhaps a door sensor that is messed up.

anyone have any ideas or similar experiences??

Sounds like an electrical short to me.
