Programmable options - dealership only?

Just took delivery of an '07 Z4C and I'm trying to figure out the programmable options. I know that on other '07 BMWs, the options can either be set through idrive or the OBC stalk. Is that the case for Z4Cs? No mention of it in the owner's manual and my google skills lead me nowhere. Any help would be appreciated.

The Z4 still has to be taken to the dealer for programming.

That seems to be one of the biggest down falls with the dealership. When you buy a Z they don't mention a thing about the programable features of the car. When you finally learn they exist, they want $$$.

The first program is free no matter when you bought your car. Here is a list of what exactly can be programmed

NO. The diarrheal cream of the crop is when you KNOW about the programming prior to pickup (and thus decide on what features you want / don't want) but the sales associate (as well as several other staff) tell you that car/key programming is unavailable on Z4 cars thus convincing you that it cannot be done.

I had to contact BMWUSA and have their response (i.e. YES IT CAN BE DONE) printed out before the bastards would do the programming for me.

lol. I am bitter as well. I got everything programmed and was told that the triple turn signal was not available for the current Zeds... even though I told them it had been done by another dealer.

That made 3 trips to the dealer just to get my car programmed (not including the day I bought my car, since they never told me about the programming)
