FML...you put this up for sale AFTER I drive to DC?
I feel better about moving far away from you now...

I did the trip in 3.5 days in the M3. Left on a Friday afternoon and drove to Gallup, NM as the Fairfield Inn there had what I remembered as a super comfortable bed. This time, I must have gotten a lemon b/c it wasn't as comfortable. Next day was 848 miles to Winfield, KS to see my brother who has stage IV pancreatic cancer. Really is eating him up. Was supposed to spend a couple of nights there but the weather back east was looking iffy for my arrival date so he shoo'd me out of his house and I drove to Knoxville, TN where I stayed at a hotel that had construction going on 24/7 nearby. Did I mention they were pile driving? Sucks to be me. Last day was all the way to my temp quarters in Alexandria, VA. In the first 100 miles on I-81 in Virginia I saw more state patrol than in the previous 2.5 days combined. Insane. The trip would have been so much nicer if I'd have had a Dinan exhaust... 40e will be driven out when the house in Vegas sells. Anyone need a house with a lift in the garage?

I think I miss my life in DC the most, but I prefer SF. I lived in Arlington, you?

I have never had a good night's sleep any Holiday Inn. Too many kids running up and down the hall, too close to highways or major roads. Hotel I've consistently had great rooms have been business center hotels. Area usually is dead after working hours. Where in Alexandria do you live in? Where do you plan on living? If you work in DC (government areas), you should really consider living within walking distance of metro. I suggest Orange lines in VA between Rosslyn and Ballston stops. Maybe blue line between King and Pentagon City. I cannot recommend anywhere on the red line for many reasons.

Likely yes, check with Dinan. E92/93 has longer tips, so this will look wierd. Most E90 owners will not buy a E92/93 exhaust bc they will have to modify the tips to prevent it from sticking out.
The amount it sticks out (or opposite in your case) is dependent on manufacturer

Each side is separate from the other, but each side is one piece. Short of a sawzall, they won't come apart.
