The inevitable.... happened.
My driverside cupholder broke. I pushed it in, and it's now stuck. It looks kind of lopsided too in there.. Is this covered under warranty?

Karma, there are DIYs for cupholder deletes out there if you are interested.
Mine haven't broke or anything... was scared today cause I had a large soda in it though!

They are covered under the standard warranty. My wife's car had the passenger side fixed once and the drivers side twice so far.
I don't use the things in my car so I don't know if they work or not. |

Alright, gonna schedule an appointment...how long do they usually take to fix/replace one cupholder?

They'll charge you for an hour, it took me about 20 minutes to do one on my old 2.5 (it was broke when I bought it, I never used mine, but I repaired it before I sold the car on - about $50 to buy).

Its covered under the initial warranty. Cause I have a 2004 with just over $50K miles, I'm in the extended warranty and that costs $50 a visit, but you can have a number of things that are covered fixed for that $50.

Both of mine still work because I NEVER use them anymore. Bought two ultimate cupholders which are excellent.

Man those things are cup launchers not holders. I tried to use it once and never again- seems like a half hearted German accomodation for us latte sipping americans.

They should have used better materials for sure. They should know us Americans drink 32 oz. Pepsi Colas from KFC more than we drink little lattes.
