MY2018 M3 Individual Manufaktur ordered

Just received a production number (July production) for September ED for my 2018 M3:

- Yas Marina Blue
- Individual Golden Brown with Manufaktur bicolor dash and center console
- M-DCT
- Executive Package

Dealer ordering system opened yesterday but no prices yet. So far, same package compositions as the 2018 M4 with no new colors and no digital display showing in the system.

congrats OP. You are 1 of only 24 production number in the whole US. Score! still have a while to go though but none the less pretty cool

Thanks... I already have suspension, wheels and trim waiting, so no ZCP.

Dealer did not have the exact build week other than saying July production due to Individual Manufaktur lead time for September ED. That's all that matters...

This build has been going on since January so I am very happy that finally everything is moving and on time for September ED. That was my major concern with the delay of USA M3 production, but all good now.

yea the delay has been killing everyone. Wait is always worth it in the end. Also good to see banks are open (limited) but open

its not limited, its just the number that have been released so far. It could become more as the time goes on. I don't know how they come about those number, nobody but BMW does and BMW is the only who can set them.

I was reluctant to post the number 24 bc I didn't want anyone to think it was a limited number but I guess I failed at that lol. Disregard the number but instead look at it as ordering is starting finally

Good to hear! We're planning on an Individual 2018 M3 for my wife. At this point, she's leaning towards San Marino Blue with either Nutmeg or Cohiba Brown Individual leather, possibly contrasting blue stitching, with Competition Package, Executive Package. and M-DCT. Euro Delivery in May 2018.

If I was doing individual, I'd go with Laguna Seca Blue, more unique IMO. Just my 2 cents

It looks like an 2018 M3 will cost less than what I paid for my 2016 M3 with same options or more.

The M4 is the same way, 2018 M4s can be $2-$2.5k cheaper than similar spec'd 15/16/17s.

exactly. the prices seem better but the residuals and MF keep getting worse! i've seen some people with 16s got 67% residual!
