BMW Track Pads
Has anybody had any luck on getting the BMW trackpads the E92 m3?My dealer called and told me it looks like a while longer before they are available.The 1st trackday is coming up fast.

As an alternate, these guys will cut a pad set out of PFC material if they can get a stock pattern. They did that for Brembo 6 piston monoblocks.
They'll also do it from Porterfield material but PFC seems to be more highly regarded among hardcore trackies. Hopefully Pagid will make a pad soon. Good luck, let us know what you find if anything. http://porterfield-brakes.com//manuf...php?manufId=12 |

I have used the Porterfeilds before with good success,but I really wanted to use the "Factory" pads because of the cost the rotors(about $2000 CDN) in the hope that they would be much more rotor friendly to get some life out of the rotors.I checked with Pagid and they also have nothing available as of yet.I still do not have my tires so I guess a little waiting will not kill me.

i used Hawk HP+ on my e46 M3 - they worked pretty well but noisy on the street. not sure whats avail for the M3 yet. prob will try my first track day with the stock pads.
