M3 Convertible 13/25 MPG

I just found the first EPA MPG for M3 Convertible. How can it get 5mpg more on the highway than the coupe and sedan? I get why its 13 in the city since it is heaver than both. I wonder if it was tested with the M-DCT?

I would assume there will be more drag with the top down. But they also probably do there testing with the top up to get higher mpg.

More inertia on the highway because it's a fat pig.

I suspect an easier explanation: A typo.

+1. The 335i vert has a highway rating of 26. Even with M-DCT, there's no way it is 13/25.

Guys, this can't be accurate. However, I suggest you save or print the Yahoo page before they correct it as it provides a great "rationalization" for getting this vehicle!

25? No way...I went on a little trip yesterday to Atlantic City, about 250 miles round trip and I only averaged 21.5 MPG.

On the window sticker I believe it said 14/25. With me driving it, I'm sure it would be more like 9 mpg...
