Question about the seat memory buttons
So the M4 has a 1 and 2 memory buttons for the seat. Does that mean that those buttons are programmed and saved per key or are they just 2 buttons for everyone.
For example I set me seat position and mirrors and saved it to memory 1 using MY key. Now for my wife, I opened the car with her key and adjusted the seat for her then saved it as number 2 I know this is confusing but what I am trying to say is does each key have its own 2 positions for a total of 4 or is it just 2 memory positions no matter which key the car was opened with?

It is 2 settings per driver profile (not per key). There are 4 driver profiles, hence 8 possible seat settings stored in memory.
When pressing the unlock button, a key simply recalls the last driver profile used with that specific key. User profiles can also be called up using the iDrive menu.
