New car tomorrow - software check?

All

About to take delivery on a ZCP 17 that was built in Feb of 2017. What do I need to verify with dealer that ECU etc have the latest software?

Appreciate a quick response probably pick up tomorrow or Thursday!

I would just ask the question. Also make sure they know about the SIB for the reflashing of the steering angle sensor.

You?d be best off asking them to check against the latest release. Easiest way to get the version yourself is to backup the iDrive profile to a flash drive and then open the XML file it creates to see the version.

Easy, you walk into the dealer and demand the mechanic address problems that you haven't even experienced yet and might not even apply to your vehicle because a bunch of people on the forums told you to. works for me every time. Especially when I go to the doctor, he loves it when I tell him what to do.

seriously though, why don't you take delivery of the car, enjoy it. be happy knowing that you have a new vehicle warranty that is fairly comprehensive and when something pops up, take it in. develop a positive relationship with your service team, it'll pay off in spades.
