Why so many F80 M3 on Swap-A-Lease?

Why are there so many M3 on swap a lease?
About 90% of them are DCT. Saw only 2 with 6MT but why so many?

Because many are coming off of a 3 year lease now. In regards to the transmission, you are seeing cars proportionate in comparison to the build rate (DCT vs. MT), no mystery here...

Because many are coming off of a 3 year lease now. In regards to the transmission, you are seeing cars proportionate in comparison to the build rate (DCT vs. MT), no mystery here...

If they are coming off lease, then why are they on swap a lease?

Honestly I like it so much better than the M3 its not even funny. Hips are the only thing the M3 wins on IMO.

M3 looks way more aggressive than M4. Then add 6MT to the M3 and it's the Floyd Mayweather fight all over over again.

Guys, they're all upgrading to the M Perf Steel Driveshaft. You all know this. Cmon.

But honestly, people are probably just bored of the car. Want to get out of lease early. Avoid lease turn in fees. Dump the damage fees on someone else and get their MSDs back. Or they did $0 driveoff and they are asking for downpayment themselves.

There are 46 M3's on Swapalease nationwide. That is not a lot.

OP, regardless of yours or anyone else's stance on lease vs. own, I think a better reason you are seeing a high rate of M3s with DCT is the leaser's realized which F8x model was better when they financed the depreciation of the car in lieu of owning it. Now in the spirit of a lease, folks are either bored, ready for something cheaper, or with a newer car smell.

Prob so many because people get swept away in the dealership and lease cars that they truly can't afford.... then 3-4 months into ownership when the reality of the 1000 dollar payment hits then it time to put up on swapalease.

If someone is truly considering a 981 or 991 vs an f8x then then they really aren't sure what they want.. very very different cars
