Dyno Day 2017

Gents,

It's that time again.... About this time last year was our last one so it's time to see whats changed. So slap on your PureTurbos, tunes, down pipes and fix your crank hubs and lets do this.

Although TTFS was beyond more than accommodating last year, based on feedback I received is that this year people would like to get their pulls on a DynoJet rather than a Dynocom.

Location: New German Performance in Aberdeen MD.

Date: October 28, 2017 - start time 10am!!!

Price: $100 - Advanced payment required

Registration Link - CLOSED

We had 10 people dyno last year and few others came to socialize. A couple things to note this go around is that NGP does not have a dedicated room for their dyno like TTFS.... however, hopefully the temps will be a bit lower this year. Please keep in mind this is not a custom tuning session. Please dont waste their time and hold everyone up to tweak your various custom settings via your laptop. Although, I dont see any problems taking a small pause to reflash another Hex tune or BM3 map. JB4 owners wont have this problem.

There may be a limited number of spots but if possible I need two bone stock cars to show up. A non-ZCP and a ZCP to run FIRST and establish generalized baseline. Also a JB stage one and JB4 stage 2 (running only Map 2 or 7 - nothing custom) would be nice but not required.

I'm currently in the talks with getting everything setup and will be able to provide more details soon. Also note, that this isn't limited to F8x owners. We had a couple others join in but note this: NGP's Dynojet is for only RWD or FWD cars only. Unlike TTFS, they are not able to accommodate AWD cars.

Also, any interest in getting catering or some some pizzas while we are there?

Right on; I may try to get in on this as a bone stock non-ZCP F82, will confirm if no other stock owners book first.

Especially if any coding folks plan to attend and could make the day a two-fer for some features coding post-Dyno runs.

You sir need to get your car back for this

A few coding guys came out and offered to help and just hung out.

Just because this is a dyno day thing doesnt mean you actually have to dyno. Come by and hang out for a bit!

Mike's dialing in the car next week. I'll be at the dyno event with the valve cover.

I may consider depending on the date. Bone stock ZCP car here, unless you consider drop in filters a significant mod for the purposes of what you are looking for on this dyno day.

You know I'm there.

Also would like to say this is a dyno day first, coding second. Don't come and mess up the rotation or distract others trying to run thier cars. I must have heard Frank say the same damn thing 8 times last year because people were outside posting up on thier cars. We have meets for all that stuff.

Thank you sir
I know I haven't made a proper introduction to the local guys. I'm coming from a different platform and a different era. We had dial -up modems back when I was tuning rotary engines so stumbling onto this forum is a whole new world. But even back then I knew one day I will own a M car. So I'll either fit in with the crew or captain EALm4 will make me walk the plank.

lol I think a lot of us come from the dial-up AOL modem era and import scene.

Anyways guys, looks like there's a target date of October 28.... still tentative though and I'm awaiting confirmation from NGP.
