New E92 Alpine White M3

What up guys, finally joined the other side and got into a 08 Alpine White with 35k miles. Came from a Jet Black E46. Just wanted to share by rides with you and say I'm so excited to start browsing what looks to be an awesome forum with a lot a picture making want to start the mods already. Any thoughts on what exhaust in the 2k range you all recommend and what wheels would you pick with a 2.5k budget. Post your rides I would love to see them.

Congrats! Looks lovely.

For wheels can't beat OEM ZCP's, looking for a set myself as there are normally plenty on the 2nd hand market. I also really like HRE FF15's and Apex EC-7's. BBS CH look great too. There are loads of great wheel options!

For exhaust depends if you can tolerate drone or not, I'd defer to some owners on that as I have stock exhaust. The OEM or ACM mod to the standard exhaust are very popular and cost effective. For no drone, the consensus seems to be M-Performance, DINAN, Eisenmann Sport, Akrapovic, or Corsa. These are all exhausts I'm considering too, but I really want to hear them in real life first! Based on peoples reviews on here, the Corsa sounds the best but is somewhat ugly. Its also the cheapest.

Wheels you can pick up a nice set of Apex Arc-8 for pretty cheap or even HRE Flow Forms, those look great on alpine white. For exhaust, if you can find an m performance exhaust v2 id go with that and pair it with any brand test pipes, best sounding setup imo. The M performance exhaust is a bit hard to find so you could always pair test pipes with the OEM muffler mod, that's what I have and I have 0 drone and sounds like an exotic above 4k

Sweet AW. I have a Space Gray E93 with the OEM muffler mod and a test pipe. Total cost a little less than $500 but super loud especially on cold start and when flooring it.

My E92 Mineral White, the dirty step child to your AW has a Gintani X-Pipe. Met on a ride with three other forum members yesterday and they said the Gintani X-Pipe sounded very exotic. Having never driven behind it before when it was being opened up it was pleasant news to me. Take a listen on youtube, it's one way to go but of course there are others and it's hard to go wrong. Good luck with her.

Wheels
I'm a believer in the Titan 7 wheels after having them on the car for over a month, riding over bumpy roads, and tracking the car. Holding strong with no bends and perfectly smooth ride. Just under $2,000 a set.

Since you asked for images, I posted some here for the wheels: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1412042

Exhaust
Depends on your taste. OMG loud? Daily driving no-drone? Some drone acceptable?

I personally am ok with a little but of drone, and am enjoying the Bimmerworld street exhaust which I got for $850 shipped. (discontinued) The magnaflow muffler should be very similar in sound and I passed laguna 90db limit even though when I measured closer on my own it was 94 dB.

Avoid CNT exhaust at all costs. Terrible drone, fitment was not good. After CNT exhaust I had OEM exhaust mod, 2-pipe and it was no-drone but way too quiet.
