Holy Flooded Streets!
So we had our "scattered" Thunderstorms this afternoon while I was out doing some errands...
On the way back half of the streets were flooded...the worst was under an overpass where the water was up to the bottom of the doors...I was afraid she'd stall, but the ///MC has a boat in her... Anyway...shit was scary...I kept thinking about the cars you see stuck in water on the side of the road on the news...and I was glad I wasn't one of em

Yeah.. did you say flood?? Reminded me of my altima that got flooded 2 years ago. I parked it in the middle of a "V" shaped hill and I guess the sewer drain under my car clogged up :/ Yeah it wasnt pretty. Look:
This pic was taken about 5-6 hours after the rain storm.. the water level was all the way up to my windows during the storm lol.

Yikes.... reminds me of a CarFax commercial though.... Did you sell it as a newly upholstered car?

So...just realized that the car was damaged when I was fording through the flooded underpass...initially we heard it hit something but I figured a rocked just got kicked up under the car that we wouldn't see...today when I was cleaning the car I noticed that passenger side skirt panel was pretty banged up...apparently something big was under the car in the flood...
