Hill ascent control is part of the DSC program...it means you don't roll backwards...if you roll backwards on a hill...it means you either turned DSC off or let go of the brake before you put it in gear.

Thanks for the info! I'm not a fan of it. It just doesn't feel right for a manual to not roll!!!
