Headlight lighting upgrade help!
Hi all,
I just got my 3.0si roady last week and I already can't stand ambers and lack of angel eye on it. I searched and looked through many vendors but none of them sell stuff for z4. What bulbs did you guys use to replace parking light/fog light/sidemarker ambers bulbs with to make it xenon white? And how many are there to replace total? And I saw some people made halo whiter and installed angel eyes, which brand do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance! |

Not much light mods you can do for the Z4.
If you have a pre 04, the easiest would be to get 05 headlights as they get rid of the amber hockey stick. HID's most people go with retrofit kits like MTEC.

Yea mine is 08 with xenon.
Rom3n's upgrade looks gorgeous but I would like to DIY. So i was wondering if anyone else did it their own in terms of making halos whiter, getting angel eyes and swapping all the amber bulbs to white ones. I guess I'll have to get manual and replace bulb by bulb and get right halo bulbs. |

Very nice, seems like a lot of work where something could go wrong and most mistakes in that DIY are really expensive ones!

You can change out the sidemarker bulbs to chrome/ambers, the front sidemarker to chrome amber, the low beam D2S bulb to different color temperatures, run HID fogs and if you're fearless do some bashing and mashing and replace the blinkers.
