LSD for BMW Z4 2.5 Si steptronic

Hello guys.
My name is Stefanos and I am a proud owner of a Z4 2.5 Si steptronic mod 2006.
I was searching your forum because I want to "install" a limited slip differential in my Z4. I Haven't found another thread concerning this matter.
Have you heard something about that...?

I don't know about the diff in your 2.5, but there are several threads on aftermarket LSD units for the Z4, do a search of this and the other forums. IIRC there are clutch design and quaife type units. Again working off memory (I'm at work and time is limited) Performance Gearing is one speciality shop which should be able to help. I think most of the clutch type units require modifying your diff housing prior to installing. If quaife makes one for your car, it should be a standard "drop in" type of install.

An LSD is nice to have, but they are not inexpensive. Another thing you may consider since you're doing work on the diff, is changing the ratio. A higher ratio will give you better acceleration at the expense of reduced gas mileage. Good luck
