MPE vs stock OEM connecting pipes
Are the connecting pipes and clamps the same for MPE and the stock muffler? I'm looking at a muffler that comes without connecting pipes and hoping for a straightforward swap. Thanks!!

I don't see the oem pipes marrying up to the mpe well.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I have the MPE on my car now (has connecting pipes that are clamped on). The exhaust that I'm looking at is a OEM muffler with no connecting pipes. So I'm assuming it was cut if they are welded from factory, or do they clamp on from factory too??

yea, if someone is trying to sell an oem rear section with cutoff pipes, it is going to be a pain in the ass to get those pipes... mpe has pipes that come off for ease of shipping. oem is one piece to the diff.
