E50 mix dyno chart

Good day all

Just did a dyno pull with a 50% ethanol and 50% 91aki(95 ron)
Had pretty agressive map on. Mods are full catless race exhaust; ms stage 2 intake.

The day was fairly cool tho and made 280 wkw or 375whp. 374 nm
How does this power compare to others? I really want around 300wkw or over 400whp.

Will a pulley get me closer?

Would a higher ethanol mix get me there? Also would it help to add an octane booster to get my pump fuel to 93aki or 95 aki and then do 50% ethanol?

Thank you in advance for any feedback or advice

I made 375whp on only 91 and a 90 degree day.
Mods at the time:
- Xpipe with HFC
-MS pulley
-MS intake
-bpm tune

Pulley would help. My run was on a dynojet. Not sure if yours was a mustang dyno. More octane would help but you should probably pick up the AFD flex fuel kit.

hmmmm that interesting. mine was on an aggressive map and was also on a dynojet.

Full E85 map from Gintani + pulley would get you or very close to 400whp mark.. And you don't need flex fuel kit..

so apparently anything over e60 does not make a difference? or that is what the ppl say.
still want to be able to use pump fuel as I buy full e98 and mix it in

All dynos read different. This could be 400 on another dyno we dont know how this dyno stacks up to others. Or maybe something is wrong like u need new plugs and then you would be 400 on this dyno. Back in Oct 2012 I took my previous 2013 e92 to dyno with 300 miles when it was bone stock and pump 91 in the tank on a hot day and it made 367 on a dynojet. Doesnt mean it was at a similar power level to your car as it probably read a little higher than others.

Where about in South Africa are you?

280wkw is pretty decent for the mods, is the car tuned?

Cheers

I assume the method was just run the car on gasoline, dump in ethanol, run the car again? No adaptations cleared in between run?

hey longboarder. big admirer of your car!

well the worked c63s get 350wkw on this same dyno. so I am really shocked hey. Ethanol was dumped in and we had about 2 hours of doing pulls and letting the car cool so I am sure adaption should of taken place?

would e70 be better as 105 octane(ron) the car pushed put 272wkw

hey there was time for adaptions between cooling off the dyno and checking logs so I am going to go tomorrow to see if I see a power increase

Thanks. While that car is long gone, my testing on a supercharged application revealed terrific results with very low ethanol content (2gallons of e85 mixed with remaining full tank of pump 91 octane e10). The mix was anywhere between e17 and e22 so a very low mix. This mix got me to about 93 effective octane which provided similar power numbers as using very expensive MS109 which is 103 motor octane. Of course this was all on the ESS 650 93 octane tune so I'm not sure what information gives you.

On my current NA M3 I've tried mixes of e85. However I'm on a 91 octane tune...so for me it's not helping. Actually I found on an e50 mix the car was a bit sluggish compared to pump 91 but again I'm not tuned for ethanol.

dont worry when info supercharger I am going to be asking you a ton if information!

I really appreciate all your feedback! if you can can you message me all the useful tips you found out while being N/A.

it's weird that RK tunes got amazing results on ethanol; need some solid info and what fuels and mixtures are best
