Selling my coupe - need advice

I am currently building a house and need to sell my 07 Z4 Coupe to free up some finances

I have had it advertised in a few places (eBay, CL, AutoTrader, etc.), but have received little to no interest. I realize the economy is crappy, but I am looking for some advice on selling the car.

Do my photos suck?
Is my asking price reasonable?
Are coupes in high surplus/low demand?

Any tips would be appreciated... please refrain from smart ass remarks... I am looking for sincere advice here.

Thanks.

Check what the Estimated EPA annual gas cost is. I think its like $1,800.00 or something like that but not sure. If you can deal with taking less for the car. Offer a 1 Year GAS Card (Amex gift card) or something, with the car. Might be catchy???

GL with the sale.

Honestly our Z4's are not hot sellers...

not trying to flame but in reference to the pics, i'd delete the first 3. it appears that your car was not sitting level and the huge wheel well gap on the front and rear do not look appealing. wheels look great. well-eqipped. good luck with the sale!

I appreciate your feedback.

I hadn't actually noticed that... my driveway is a little steep and I agree it does look weird. I think I am going to take a new set of photos and try once more.

Any comments on my asking price?

i bought my 07 Coupe 3.0si in March 08 as a leftover and paid $35k out the door. I have same options except for M seats and headlight washers. I checked Kelly Blue Book a month or so ago and if I remember correctly you are around $2k under private seller value.

I think your ad is very good and your asking price is competitive too.

The only thing I would personally change are the pics. In my opinion cars DON'T look the best under bright sunlight. If I were you I'd wash/wax the car (perhaps even add some tire black) and take some pics when it's a tad darker out....not night time, but I think you get what I mean. The finish on a car really seems to "pop" under the right light. Most people shop by the pics they see rather than the words that accompany them. Also, for some reason, a lot of people like to see a pic of the gauges indicating the mileage. Just a suggestion.

All good feedback... I really appreciate it.

I am going to give her a wash tomorrow and take a new set of pics. I look forward to the next round of critique.

I think you are a high on the price. The coupes simply are not selling. I purchased a M coupe last fall that was 4 months old with 1500 miles on it for 39000. The economy and gas have gotten a lot worse since then. Dealers have been letting new 3.0 coupes go for not much more then you are asking. I think your going to have to get into the mid twenties to move the car.

The car is phenomenal and those wheels really add to the entire aesthetic package. If I wasn't so set on an M Coupe, it would definitely be a consideration. Good luck with it.
