Question Question about Carbon fiber exhaust tips

I just got my m3 this Saturday and I'm interested in buying carbon fiber exhaust tips for my car. My m3 has the comp package so it comes with black exhaust tips, which I like alot.

I would like to purchase the M Performance CF exhaust tips but they come with the titanium tips and I'd rather keep my black tips instead. Does anyone know if you can get just the carbon fiber outer to put on my black tips anywhere? Sorry if this is a stupid question or if I'm missing something.

You can't put the factory MPE tips onto the regular exhaust. You have to buy the fake MPE tips from eBay, etc. Although putting a carbon sleeve on the black tips, would look nice, I've never seen just the sleeve sold. You'd have to remove the tips and rivet them onto the black tips.

You could get the carbon sleeved tips and try to paint them black. I thought about it and I have the paint, but didn't do it.
