so i bought this car a couple of weeks ago after send it to bmw for pre purchased inspection everything came out good but when i got delivery of the car i noticed a rattling noise in the engine on cold start  called the dealer who check the car and they said some noise are expected since is a high performance car, now after doing my research I'm wondering this may be something else what do you guys think??

The top video sounds normal ish to me. The ticking you hear is due to the high pressure of the fuel injectors. The bottom video (cold start (1)) sounds odd though as mine goes quiet after the engine goes back to idle speed. It could be the microphone exaggerating the sound on our side. Does it sound exactly the same in person?

after the idle go regular the sound keep until the car reach some temp , after the car warms up i can turn the car off and wait a hour or two and doesn't sound at all when i start the csr again , researching on internet i came out with differents opinion (vanos) ( belt tensioner ) but if was it belt tensioner the sound have to be there every time i start the car no? the car sit at 60k miles right now.. vanos can be a common ossue at this mileage ?

It's very difficult to diagnose a noise from a video unfortunately. I'm not sure about vanos issues on the f10. I know the e39 and the e60 both had vanos issues. The only thing I can tell you is that mine has a similar noise on cold start and it's a ticking of the injectors.

If it's better now then you may have had a poor quality oil in it before or it was just worn, the LM is a good lubricant in the right grade and quite a few US forum members say they use it.
