Another Extended Warranty Question

I don't think this one has been answered, apologies if I missed it - I did search...

I'm considering purchasing my first BMW. It's a '16 M5 so still under factory warranty.

I received a quote for a BMW extended warranty for an extra 3 years up to 75,000 miles. The quote was almost $7500.

My question is this: Is there a great variability in the quotes that different dealers provide? In the Benz world, there was one dealer in CA that was known to provide the best price (typically $1000+ less) relative to other dealers - and they were known in the community.

Is there a similar extended warranty 'wholesaler' for BMWs?
