Catted X-pipe options
I'm new to these cars but it seems like catted x-pipe options are very limited? Am I looking in the wrong places? I know catless makes the most power and also tends to drone the least but I'm not particularly interested in running catless. Been there, done that with other cars.
What's a good one that works with the stock rear section or most aftermarket catbacks? |

There are a few options.
I just got an RKP (Challenge) x-pipe with HFCs. Pretty sweet. Active Autowerk also sells a version with cats. I am sure there are others with good HFCs. A proper high flow cat will not rob you of very much performance. As for smell, I find that the HFCs in my new x-pipe do a better job than the factory secondaries and test pipes. Cheers,

AFE also makes a high flow catted x-pipe, resonated and un resonated. The AFE keeps the primary cats in the stock location which is nice.

I have had the AFE 300cell catted/resonated xpipe on my car for 18 months and close to 17000 miles and have not thrown a cat efficiency code so if that’s a concern it might be your best option. The 200cell cats in primary location can be a bit of a crapshoot on maintaining OBD readiness according to the threads here

If you do happen to be pairing this with an MPE, please consider providing an audio clip. Cheers |

This is your best option considering you want HFCs and assuming you want a more civilized sound (resonators) and if you have a budget -> RKP (Challenge) x-pipe with HFCs.
You will need ECU software to remove the Check Engine light. Alternatively, if your budget allows the Akrapovic Evolution system (full titanium) is a very nice system (also, has HFCs and resonators) |

Like others have said. RKP (Challenge) just started offering x-pipes again. Street version removes secondary cats and keeps factory cats intact (no check engine light). Sport version removes primary cats and has high flow cats in the secondary position. Race is no cats at all.

Ideally I'd like to remove some of the restriction of the cats but not entirely. Sounds like the Sport RKP is exactly what I'll want. My experience on other cars is that even the smallest amount of catalytic converter helps keep the smell down completely and also the rear of the car a bit cleaner (mine is Alpine white).
