I have a X-pipe for a e9x BMW M3. It is an Frequency Intelligent Exhaust and has had one high flow cat and one resonator welded on. I purchased used a few month ago but never installed on the car as I decided to go a different route. Comes with 2 new exhaust clamps.

Do cats work? Do they prevent CEL?

Dont believe it would prevent a cel it will probably help more with the smell of going full catless.
