All 135i options do not work no codes!!!!!!!

Hi , I recently purchased a 2012 135i BMW. The Last 10 digits of VIN VM12392.

From my research my car has the M sport package and the ppk2 kit installed and a tune.

All my options DO NOT WORK!!!!, crusie control, blue tooth, comfort access, parking distance control.

Nothing works and I have all the hardware. I have no codes and no errors on the dash or when scanned.

I purchased protools and I realize I am a dinosaur. ........ HELP!!!!!

It's a long shot, but take a look at the modules in the trunk. There are a few depending on options, some under the cardboard battery cover, some in the fender wells behind the wheels (passenger side has the comfort access module for example).

I got water in my comfort access module when the rear bumper was off at a paint shop, and it fried it. That was giving me all sorts of crazy warning lights and issues until I replaced it.

I've heard of other modules back there getting wet. Check under both seats as well, that's also an easy place to get water.

Good luck.

Also know that 85% of all electrical gremlins are caused by loose or dirty connections. Many of these issues are caused by a severely corroded ground wire very low, drivers side between starter motor and body chassis. Also check positive terminals at accessory boosting terminal under the hood. Also check terminals right on battery.

If your battery voltage is that high then you have issues.

You should measure the battery voltage with the car fully off and it should be around 12.5-12.7 if the battery is in good condition.

I assume you measured with the car running, which just tells you if the alternator and charging system is working ok, but not necessarily and indication of battery health.
