Anyone ever see this before? It happened about a week ago. The mirror had a giant black spot in the center the slowly 'drained' downward over time. Now the fluid sits at the current level shown in the image and can be seen to flow to the side when I raise the mirrors up. Drivers side looks perfectly fine.

Looks similar to the E46 rear view mirror problem; the fluid is for auto-dim, and would actually leak (and damage the trim below it if not cleaned up immediately).

I had to replace my E92 side view mirror glass a while back, pops out, remove a cable, and pops back in. Think I got the part from getbmwparts.com.

Agree pull this mirror out immediately, the fluid inside is highly corrosive.
