Wheel offset and their look
Hi guys
I am still trying to get my head around how offset effects the concavity of the csl wheels, if it does at all that is. I want to get a set of csl wheels be it genuine or replicas or even a wheel like the Morr vs7 that have a decent amount of concavity, however I dont know whether the higher the offset the more concave or the lower the offset the more concave.....could someone please advise. There is also a lot of variation in the design of the wheel. Two wheels of the same offset can have a big difference in their appearance. Aspects such as lip and concave/convex can be different between one style and another as well as between different widths of the same style wheel. If you want a certain look, you've got to see the wheel in the offset and width which is correct for your car. GL

Also it depends on how wide the wheel is too.
22ET for 9.5" wide is not concave as 22ET on 8" wide

The authentic rear ZCP's/CSL's with -27 offsets are more concave than the CSL replica with -22 offsets.

Wheel concavity depends on width, disk type, face, and offset of course. Generally the lower the offset more concave it will be but that is not the final determining factor.
