dct update problem

I just got the dct software update, life is good except I cannot do Launch Control. A couple days before the update I saw the checkered flag but didn't actually test it. Now, I put it in M mode, DSC off, S6, Foot on brake, push the lever forward....and the car just sits there. anyone else try seeing the checkered flag after the DCT update? Just wondering if I have to drive it for a while before it appears again.
TY!

It would be fucked up if the update blocked the LC in the US.

Did you check your M mode settings? These might have been resetted by the update.

Best regards, south

+1. When I had an update run for my alarm coding, all my M settings and preset buttons were reset.

I had the same problem but it went away

I got my update a few days ago, could not LC with RPM hitting 8400. I noticed that the oil gauge did not complete its read even when I drove over 15 mins. Subsequently the oil level read was complete on a longer (office commute) after which LC returned to normal.

What has to DCT come to ? Gotta praise 6MT for that even if you don't get the faster gear shifts.

In its current form LC isn't very usefull anyway.... Need to be able to set a lower RPM to hookup faster and easier. Otherwise, man go enjoy the car its still freakin sweeeeet.
