ok, thank you all for your comments.

I went really only to drive it.... the rest is history.

I couldn't resist. sparkling graphite i think is the color name, tech package, 6 speed, 08....

I was sad to see the 335i go however this m3 is great, love at first site...

It just has that v8 feel that is hard to replicate, twin turbo or not ...

a few questions:

how the hec does the idrive work lol
does this need 93 octane like the 335i? dealer told me no and I'm hoping their right because the ride home on the highway, average mpg wasn't looking so good lol
what kind of mileage are you guys getting, ball park average?

anything I must know or have for the car?

I'm definetly not messing with this one, exhaust etc..
they gave me a hard time about the cat back on the 335 and made me swear in blood that I would find the original exhaust and bring it to them (which is going to be tough ) lol

Just finished a short 4 hr cruise on the PA Turnpike and I averaged 21.7 mpg. That's w / the cruise set @ 74.

Normally, in my every day commute into Pittsburgh, I average about 17 mpg.

I hoped for better hwy mpg, but perhaps that will improve as the engine continues to break in.

so is that a E90 or E92? My guess is E90 since your 335 is E90 too.

Anyway, regarding the mileage, it will get better eventually. I have roughly 1500 miles on mine and she average out to about 16mpg now. Used to be 10mpg when I 1st take her home!

MSRP was 64500 or so and I got it for 60 and change... I probably didn't fight enough...

funny thing is, it had an older sticker and had a AVM +10,000. I think earlier in the year they were tacking on an extra 10k... now they're erasing that 10 and giving at least 4-5 additionally...
bottom line is this deal was possible only becuase of the select and 0.9%.

oh yea, it has tech, premium, ipod, sat, CA, & cold weather package...
most of that stuff i didn't want but they didn't have any with less, only more...

some of the ones on the lot were in the mid 70's!!! ouch
