Thumbs up 5 months left. I'm sold.

5 months left on the lease on my stock e92 335. I was given the option to keep my 335 or get something else.

My affinity of BMWs has led me to an e92 M3, watching v3 335s take down beasts kept me wanting to keep my 335 or get a new one. But after yesterdays test-drive of a DCT 08' M3 has changed my mind.

I love my 335, and very grateful for it being my first car. THANKS SR. The quickness of it still terrifies me to this day, but day by day i fall out the whole tuner, "racer boy" deal.. Maturation at a young age - I like driving slow, knowing I got something special and ready to perform if needed.

I thought the m3 would be sluggish, but my thoughts were deferred after leaning on the pedal and hearing that engine, dear Gawd. I was sold after hearing 5500, SouthBay BMW CA wouldn't let me go any further. Quickness wasn't THHAATT different for me compared to my 335, and I didn't even get to mess with the M settings.

Hopefully I place my order at the end of next month, got my opts./accessories down, my only dilemma is.. WHICH COLOR?!?!?

Dude, if it's an 08, just get it. You can't beat the financing or lease rates on it. They'll likely take some off sticker too. They'll take a LOT off sticker on sedans.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Same feeling here about aftermarket tuning. I'm so over it. That's why I choose something I could enjoy in stock form. No mods necessary to enjoy the M3.

Except the painted reflectors lol. They add like 50 pounds of torque.

335 is an amazing car....one of the best, if not the best 3 series ever built by BMW and commands my utmost respect. But the M3...as I would deem it...is heavenly!! The second you turn on the car...you will feel the greatness!!
