Whistling sound under acceleration

I have noticed the last few times under hard acceleration i am hearing what sounds like whistle coming from the front pass. side. it sounds like aftermarket intake (like an open air filter), but since it is coming from the right side i am confused. is this a normal sound?

most of the time i have the radio up so i don't notice it. just started noticing it car has 3k on it now. if i am not under hard acceleration i don't hear it.

Its getting cold out.. the engine is breathing easier, releasing more horsepower, i might expect it to sound slightly different in the temperature changes..

dont know where DFW is by NY and CT....

May be a little fairy installed a turbo on your engine???

Ok... so no turbo, hum? Did you check the cleanliness of the air intakes?? May be a dead tree leave or some other dirt is creating the noise when a lot of aire is sucked up?? Leaky tube or hose?

I have not noticed this on mine.

listen to see if it's coming from the mirrors. My son was complaining about the same thing and we isolated it to the mirror.
