v-power only $2.65 per gallon in my area....
seems like it was only yesterday when I was paying $4+ per gallon for gas. I just got back from my local shell station and filled up with V-power for $2.65 a gallon!!!
I never thought I would see prices below $3 a gallon for premium gas again, great timing! |

Enjoy it while it lasts...I'd personally like to fill up about 100 barrels worth at these prices and just hide it in my back yard or something... something tells me that it'll be back at $3.50 by early spring or summer again! Exon just released their quarterly profits $13 billion wasn't it? That's gotta get someones attention and motivation for prices to continue at their ah previous levels...not to mention the retooling of the US automotive industry for smaller and fuel efficent cars!

as more people buy nonsense hybrids and civics, and escalades sit on the lots, we are actually using less gas as time goes on therefore the price goes down? supply and demand right? perhaps the dollars slightly getting stronger is helping too, remember oil is traded in Euros and one main reason for the price going crazy here over the last year is the dollars lost value against the euro. whatever it is, now that i've had my m3 for a week, it sure does demand lots of gas, seems like every day I fill up glad its in the high $2's, not $4.00 lmao....
