Flex fuel plugs & gap

*Edit

Steve @ WedgePerformance called for NGK 97506 @ .022

Hey all,

Looking to go the MHD CAN flex route with the F80.
I keep reading about the recommended plugs and gaps for either 93 or full E85, but cannot find anything definitive about those going the flex route.

Does anyone have any input or experience on this?

For context: Stock turbos & fuel system, catless DP's, probably going for 75/80% of max effort in order to keep the turbskis happy.

Thanks

I've seen folks running gap from .020-.023 with no issues and some as low as .018.
I suggest ask your tuner for your specific mods.

I’m running NGK 97505s on .022 gap on close to full E85 (E70).

Pulls very strong but I’ll likely drop down to .020 when I change out my coils.

I changed out to ngk f8s plugs and gapped to .020.

Car is much happier now on flex fuel.

Sorry to wake the dead here but can you describe the driveability difference between the 97506 and F8S?
