Passed with same setup last year on this car (after market x pipe). Now I cannot get it to pass! Going to be trying to retune the stock tune. (flashed it yesterday morning and drove 60ish miles and cleared a code for "increased emissions". Going to re flash it tonight and complete the drive cycle. Any other suggestions?!

I see you're in NY. You will not pass inspection unless you have a stock X pipe ( or one with 4 cats) and a stock tune.

I was thinking I might need to go back to the stock xpipe. Only problem is, i'm not sure if it's stock or not. I have the xpipe but i'm the second owner of this car. Unsure if he hollowed em out. Is it possible to tell if they are fully stock or not by looking at em?

So strange though, I passed with this EXACT setup last year. First mod I did was xpipe and I passed emissions so easily the first 2 times. This is my 3rd inspection with non stock x pipe and it's constantly failing. I'm going to try the drive cycle tonight and if that doesn't work I guess I'll need to find a stock x pipe if the one that came with the car was modified.

They probably didn't hook anything up to your OBDII. Same thing happened to me when I had test pipes and ess tune. Went crazy trying to figure it out the next year

Here's the pic, looks stock. No cuts or welds so I believe cats are in tact. Would I need to order new 02 sensors and such for it where the red circles are?

Those are secondaries and the farthest to the bottom are resonators. The very top where you circled were where the primary cats were.

Now that I know I need the primary cats, anyone have any suggestions where to get them from new? I will be looking for used but if anyone knows where to find any that would pass inspection please let me know.

You could always move out of NY like a lot of other people who don't want to live oppressed. Just a thought…

Find someone local that will let you borrow a OEM x-pipe for the day or rent it from them.

Love living in FL, haven't had state mandated inspections since 2000. Modders paradise but that also means you have shitboxes driving around too.

Might need to take you up on this. Found someone selling one but he's not sure when he's taking it off his car. Message me where you're located and hm you're looking for rent.

They come up for sale all the time, may find one near to you. Would be worth the couple hundred to get past your inspection every time. They are quite easy to swap out.
