Lightweight Flywheel 6MT Owners/Experience? TTV? JB?

Since I am looking to replace my clutch with OEM & I would need to get a newer style 09+ flywheel,

I am looking into getting the TTV lightweight flywheel or the JB Racing one...

Does anyone here have experience with either FW and how much chatter is added for DD?
I havent seen much post regards 6 MT owners with lighter flywheels...

Hoping you can chime in.

I dont have a big concern with added NVH since I own another M3 with full upgraded tranny/motor/suspension mounts...

I have the TTv with a stock clutch, it drives really good. Revs come down quick between shifts so you have to be smooth with your pedal or be quick with your shifting. The noise is definitely there, im using the uuc fluid combo and it helps a little but with the windows up the sound is very noticable and dont think about lugging it in 3rd or 4th at idle it sounds like a bag of bearings. once you get used to it you dont really notice it much.

The TTV flywheel is single-mass and the stock clutch disc has an unsprung hub, right? I haven't experienced this combo but it seems like a recipe for a lot more vibration and/or shock being transmitted both ways between the engine and the rest of the drivetrain.

I have TTV with stock clutch. Can definitely hear a noise at idle from it but it's pretty minor vs the the benefits I see on track. For a DD or weekend driver unless the stock flywheel is bad I wouldn't see the added benefits.

its a solid faced disc, there really isnt anything to create shock or vibrations. its just a solid clutch takeup.

I also have the TTV flywheel (DCT) at idle, yes it's pretty noticeable, but once you get moving it's pretty hard to hear. I've heard that the sound could very well decrease over time also.

Absolutely. Not saying the clutch/flywheel itself will cause vibrations.

I'm wondering whether they'll transmit more vibration from engine vibration and shock from the drivetrain. Seems like they'd have to, because they lack the damping that normally absorbs that stuff, no?

I have a stage two on my e46, Worst mod I've ever done. It's noisy and makes the car clunky. I'd stick to a regular fly wheel if you don't plan to substantially increase horsepower.

For those with a DCT car and the TTV flywheel, was it actually worth the investment? My car is SC and I have been debating adding the flywheel, but unsure if it is considerable enough to actually make the investment.
