Filters
Looking for input on the best air filters for my 2017 M4 Comp.
I bought the car at 30,000 km about a year and a half ago and the filters were quite clean. I now have 53,000 km on it and checked the filters today. They are looking like they could use a change. I have heard that the K&N filters are decent for this car but I have heard that K&N filters are sprayed with oil when made and have seen comments on possible MAF sensor issues if they get gummed up with oil. Not sure whether that is true or not.  Anyone care to enlighten me before I purchase a set. I've checked the FCP Euro site and they don't seem to have them available, is there a place locally that they can be had? Sorry for all the questions but I'm a work in progress with this car. Thanks ahead of time...

Park has them but they're located in Kitchener I'm sure there's someone closer that carries them but I'm not sure. From what I've read it seems that BMC has better build quality but think you can't go wrong with either. |
