estimated cost on damage

Hi everyone,

2 weeks ago i left my car parked at some store, i get back and notice this damage to my vehicle. I already cleaned the car so 95% of the marks on this attachment dont show. Is it even worth repairing for 5k, if the scratches dont show and just looks like a dent and a bigger gap from door to body panel of vehicle, any thoughts?

Best regards,

I wouldn't take my F80 out of the garage until it got fixed with that kind of damage. The crease on the fender is pretty bad.

I would consider a good paintless dent removal shop to see if they can get it back to 90% if you don't want to spend 5k fixing it.

Ouch. You need a fender and a door hung.

You are in NY, the city of cameras but two weeks is most likely too long. As for paintless dent removal, the crease on the fender is not likely to come out. Considering the value of a clean M4CS it may be painful to pay the $5,000.00 but you will be rewarded when you sell. If the repair shop keeps it off CarFax all the better.

You're asking if it's not worth paying $5k to fix and you bought a CS? You're just going to drive it around looking like that otherwise?

Wat?

Go through insurance. Not worth paying that yourself.

I'm not sure where people are getting $5k from, I could see that costing less. Did you get an estimate for it?

I would get that fixed, would go with what others have suggested if you're not looking to spend that much. Look for a good used fender in the same color or go the paintless route.

I would fix that no matter what - for looks alone

but I would really fix it because of the door gap - noise - wind - water from rain or snow = suckage

Can this be an easy fix, should i shop around body shops that are good with bmw to see what they say? I was thinking of eventually of buying a used panel like the one man provided above, but im worried it wont fit due to it being for m3 15-18 im an m4cs 2019. Also would they be able to fix the gap??
