Doesn't help that the wheels on the silver totally suck IMHO. But I really don't think silver suits this car anyway...
The blue rocks, but I'm convinced I'll be in one of the shades of red or black... Not decided on metallic or non-metallic... Depends on the interior options that we have to choose from in NA, too...

i'm certain it is le mans .... le mans is the darker one. it has the single tailpipe yet m-pack rear bumper so i guess it is a 123d w/ m-pack? |

That silver looks more like Cashmere Silver than Titanium Silver. :iono:

I was thinking the exact same thing. Look at the wheels and compare. I've had three Titanium Silver Metallic cars from BMW and that does not look like that is the color of the "silver" car in the photo. |

Brochure says the silver is titanium and the blue is le mans. it's too late to redo now, and apologies for my scanner - the silver does look more silver than cashmere. i would be careful making a definitive anti-judgement on the silver, it seems they have made the blue car 'sparkle' more - i guess becasue they want to sell the m sport models.
What's strange though is that the only blue swatch in the brochure that is even close to le mans - as it states under the photo - is called montego in the colour swatches. the only other blue there is called monaco and that looks virtually black, so must be very dark. so le mans must = montego?? maybe it's a euro thing? |

IN the brochure itself the silver has a cashmere look - if you look carefully there is a sort of browny haze/swirl effect going on over the whole photo
I have finally earned ny lesson about black cars, having owned three in the rainy UK. They NEVER look good, excpet when you take delivery and for 3 minutes after they have been washed (and scratched) by someone. |
