my m3 started making these loud noises when i was idling waiting to get gas...

It went away after I got gas and started driving again. But it's scaring the crap out of me.

Does it sound like a tea kettle?

Hey, i don't think so..

This is a quick video of it. The noise gets louder near the end.

Scenario:

I was idling and waiting for my spot at the gas station. Was probably idling for like 3-5 minutes? The sound stopped after I stopped and reopened the car. I have not been able to recreate the noise afterwards.
Near the end of the vid, I start to actually move a little to move into my gas station spot.

Only mod is VRSF midpipe. No tune.

Your midpipe might be hitting the bottom of the car and making a rattle.
