Toursit- diplomat pricing?
I made my first trip to a BMW dealership yesterday to take a quick look at the 128i (135's are not in yet) and was very impressed even though I didn't have time for a testdrive. The SA gave me a brochure on the car and also photocopies of his price list including the options. At the top of each page it has 3 prices for each version of the car.
Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price Manufacturer's Suggested Tourist Price Manufacturer's Suggested Diplomat Price I'm assuming at this point almost everyone is paying close to MSRP but I'm wondering if these other prices will come into effect somewhere down the road. BTW, this was at a Canadian dealership. Any ideas? |

I think you ygot an answer for this somewhere else... the diplomat price is of course, for people with diplomatic credentials.
the tourist price is for when you pick up your car in europe (costs of bringing it back should kill the difference IMO)
