Heading over to Munich to do ED!
I'm bringing 12GBs of memory for my camera, so I'll be snapping LOTS of pictures of the Welt, as well as the car, and the entire trip.
I won't really have internet until next thursday, and that will be dial-up, so I'll post one or two pictures then, but it'll be the monday after that until I post the whole shebang. Any specific requests for photos? I'll be leaving in an hour or two for the airport, so make it quick!

Pictures, beer, etc, can do.
I already converted some dollars to euros. VERY painful! There will be pics and video. There will be completely broken in halfway through the trip, so I'll have to see about that 150mph limiter... doing quite a bit of driving on autobahns in the middle of nowhere. With any luck, I can avoid snow. I'll give you guys the skinny on ED, and BMW Welt. I'm really looking forward to seeing the building, very cool arcitecture!

Slightly OT, but I very rarely convert dollars to foreign currency. You take a big hit on the transaction fee and the retail exchange rate.
I always use an ATM. That way you get the interbank rate. |

May 13th. Looks like I'll be there two weeks before you. If you haven't already, you should check out the ED calendar over at bimmerfest.com. Turns out that I'm picking up my car on the same day as another bimmerfest member from Colorado.

I've already added myself to their calendar. There are a total of 5 people so far for that day  I'm hoping I can meet up with some to take some pictures. There's another 135i being picked up the same day

I was in Frankfurt a couple of years ago about this time and the white asparagus was in season. It was everywhere and delicious, especially with the hollandaise. Germany is a great place to visit.
