Kids Car/Booster Seats-Coupe

I know there maybe a small margin of us out there, but I purchased the 135i (over a Boxster S) to include my 5 year old son in his dads passion/affliction for cars. Are there any dad's out there who have had any luck with booster seats (full or backless) that fit well in the rear of the car?

Our new 1 is a fourth vehicle, so its use will be limited to eveneing drives/ice cream trips and so on. Thanks to all who care to respond.

I've had the Britax Parkway booster in my 135i. No problems.

The only thing I have to watch out for is to make sure the passenger seat in front of her is positioned far enough forward so that when I move the seat back to its original position, it doesn't hit her feet.

Hard to imagine it being a problem. The only kid-related issue with this car would be using a rear-facing baby seat - not sure there would be enough room, and ingres/egres would lead to a hernia, no doubt. But you're four years beyond that with a 5-year-old. My 4-year old hops in and does her own belts now - I still check them, of course.

Check these out. It's made by Magna the large Canadian auto parts maker.

Since you're Canadian you can find these at the local Canadian Tire as well.

I'll probably be picking one or two of these up for my kids.

Yeah, they are pretty sweet for the money. Easily removable and washable covers with a variety of styles. Easy install and removal via latch. It's perfect for those of us with kids in the 5 to 9 year old range.

Thank you all for your feedback. Our smallest vehicle now is a Honda Pilot. I like the idea of the snap in latch system. I wish all manufacturers would use the same system. My 3 year old daughter needs to add 10 more pounds to fit a booster. Thanks again dads!

I have done both ... one with a back and one without a back .. The fit a little tight back there and I have to make sure the seatbelt latch is not under the seat, but you can do it and it will work .. its just a little tight ..

Got it!

Picked it up in Vancouver with my 5 year old. Purchased the clek and it fits in like factory. I would have liked to get the one shown with the armrests (used pillows to prop him up) but it is only available online (other one is always at CDN Tire). I was pleasantly surprised with the room in the back seat. Only drawback to date is the lack of storage space, which is very apparent when you fill all four seats. We took our 3 year old (her car seat fits well too) for a spin tonight and she loved it.

Having 1200km to break it in was a treat. The car passes others like they are standing still. You can see the look on their faces "wow that little white car sure has alot of power".
