I picked up my mats last week. Pretty boring, no embroidery or even a plastic bit for the driver's foot area...

My 120i mats came with two hook and loop round pads for each of the front mats. Stops the mats moving around, but I had to get the loop stuff sewed onto the drivers mat as it was just glued on and that didn't last long.

Spare parts guy told me that these mats come with self taping plastic screws that are fixed into the exiting carpet..These plastic screws have velcro heads to fix the mats onto.

Must be the same..
My only issue is now to make sure the coupe mats fit in the vert..
Both cars have different floor pans.

The Spare parts guy is checking..

Yep - the same fare as is offered on the 3 series E90. They really arent very good at staying put.

I have them on my 3 series. They are forever lifting...the velcro is ok...its the plastic screws that arent very well designed, or robust enough to keep the corners of the mats secure in the 1 position.

They are exactly as you described them.

Bit disappointing thou..In past genuine BMW mats had their emblem embroidery..These are just "plain jane".

Bummer. I thought they may have had something Bimmerish on them.
Nevermind.
They arent the cars best accessories Im sorry to say...not very well thought out.

Hey I meant to ask you too...did you track your cars delivery from the http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/ web site?
Is the VIN No the only thing you needed to track it?

The mats on the vert are a great tailored fit.
Just plain black..

Yeh..all you need is your vin to track on that site.
It gets updated every 48 hrs or so.

Once your vert is built the dealer will be issued with your vin.

What is the build week for you vert?

Great, thanks
I got told by the dealer last week that it was scheduled for the 1st or 2nd week of July.
(I was bugging him about adding the mirror package to the order- at the last minute too, so thought Id bug him again about it)

He did say that no other changes could be made to it as it was now "scheduled & had been programmed for production\build".)

What that means I have no idea! But its sounding like its a happening thing & she's being "created".
Im becoming impatient now I trust the golf bag, clubs & buggy will fit nicely in the boot?
