For any one Who's Waiting on a 1 Production Date - or - Who's Been There...

• Odrered in mid June and was given my production number the next day from my CA.

• Attempted to register on the owners circle w/ the PN today and still its showing a 2005 vehicle and not letting me complete the registration form.

• Called the 800.831.1117 VP Status line and "no scheduled date available".

DO THEY DO THIS ON PURPOSE??? lol.

How long before it usually updates?

be patient. your CA can get you updated Vehicle Inquiry Reports for you at any time. OC and the 800 number are usually out of sync for possibly weeks until your car is about to enter production. once your car is being produced, OC and the 800 number are usually only 1 day behind.

I ordered my 135i in April and just picked it up Wednesday. Two months from Germany - not bad!

Did you get it at IA. I saw a black 6 speed there but it was gone the next day.

Hmm... that's interesting. I ordered around the same time as you. Signed the order on 6/15, the CA was able to find an allocation the next day and provided me with a production number. I changed my color choice on 6/17. Initially my production number shows up as a 2003 325CI on owner's circle. But within a week, it has changed to the correct 135i order. Production started last week and finished on 6/27. If you ordered around mid June, I would think the status should've been updated by now. You should ask your CA to look into this. I hope he didn't forget to enter the order into the system.

God, let's hope not.

I mentioned this to my CA last Friday and she said my prod number is still the correct one. Hope something changes soon.

I ordered on June 14th, and OC just updated from an 05 X3 about 3 days ago. It went into production around the same time.

Of course, now it is shown an AW 128i with the wrong option packages, but I figure that the dealer simply changed an order they had coming to the lot at the last minute to what I want, and OC is behind on updating the options (otherwise I will not be happy).

I am planning PCD in September... so regardless of when the car is actually, done, I have a long wait yet to come.

In your case, it probably all depends on when the dealer's production allocation is; once it gets scheduled for production stuff will start to update. Mine was "not yet scheduled for production" for about 10 days.

The OC doesn't update until the car has gone into production. I'm not sure why they reuse production order numbers, since it seems to cause more trouble than its worth. But yeah, once it goes into production the 800# is about 1 day behind and the OC can be 2 days behind.

I ordered on 6/16. My CA actually emailed me his order, which included the production # and the fact that it was a priority 1 (Customer ordered) with a Status code of 112 (Scheduled for daily production pack). It was seen as waiting for production 4 days later, and finished production on 6/27. Mine always appeared as a 135i, but the options were never correct (and they still aren't correct).

Hopefully you will get yours all sorted out.

I would bet that you will go into production in week 27 (this week) or week 28 at the latest.

No, I got it from Concours.

I initially went to IA but during my second visit there a couple of the salesmen really turned me off when I had some questions about the 1 series.

So I drove up to Concours and it really reminded me of the dealerships in Germany and the staff there is top notch!
